COMING UP: Walk-A-Thon & Family Picnic!

DON’T FORGET: KEEP FUNDRAISING! Walk–A–Thon this Friday!

We are just days away from our annual Walk–A–Thon & family picnic!
 

EVENT REMINDERS:

• To meet the fundraising requirement, families must bring in a minimum of $100 (per family). Families that pay their fundraising fee ahead of time are ALWAYS encouraged to participate. Every little bit counts! The top 25 students that fundraise the most will win a party hosted by Ms. Rivera! Let’s cheer each other on and aim for the top!
• On the day of the Walk–A–Thon: Join us for a family picnic celebration starting at 10:30am featuring the Kona Ice Truck! Parents can set-up their picnic area at 10:15am. Cool off with a delicious shaved ice treat—20% of all proceeds go back to St. Thomas!

• Event Schedule: See below.
  • 8:30am – 10:30am → Student walk laps (ONLY STUDENTS)
  • 10:30am – 12:00pm → Family Picnic
  • 12:15pm → Dismissal Time 
• What to wear: P.E. clothes with class color accessories. Your child’s teacher will let the class know their color. 
• What to bring: Water bottles, snacks, food, blankets for picnic. Students do not need to bring their school backpacks. 
• We’ve had incredible success in years past, and we’re counting on your energy and enthusiasm to make this year our best yet. Let’s come together and show what the St. Thomas spirit is all about!

¡Estamos a pocos días de nuestro Walk–A–Thon anual y picnic familiar!

RECORDATORIOS:

• Para cumplir con el requisito de recaudación de fondos, las familias deben traer un mínimo de $ 100 (por familia). Las familias que pagan su cuota de recaudación de fondos antes de tiempo SIEMPRE se anima a participar. ¡Cada granito de arena cuenta! Los 25 estudiantes que más recauden ganarán una fiesta organizada por la Sra. Rivera. ¡Vamos a animarnos unos a otros y apuntar a la cima!
• En el día del Walk–A–Thon: ¡Únase a nosotros para una celebración de picnic familiar a partir de las 10:30 am. Los padres pueden preparar su área de picnic a las 10:15 am. Refrésquese con un delicioso helado-20% de todos los ingresos volver a nuestra escuela. 
• Hemos tenido un éxito increíble en los últimos años, y estamos contando con su energía y entusiasmo para hacer de este año nuestro mejor todavía. Unámonos y mostremos el espíritu de Santo Tomás.
