Holy Thursday – Easter Sunday

“Even before the Last Supper, Jesus had made clear that this meal — the Mass — would be the way he stayed with the Church forever. It would be his real presence.”

How can you enter in and celebrate Holy Thursday from home?
Visit this webpage at 7pm to pray with us as Archbishop Gomez celebrates the Mass of the Lord’s Supper. Make the Mass Livestream experience intentional. Light a candle. Gather your family and invite everyone to actively participate. Some families even place a cross near their computer or TV screen.

Celebrating as a family
On Holy Thursday we remember the night when Jesus gave us the gift of the Eucharist. Prior to the passover meal, Jesus instructs two of his disciples to make the room ready for the feast. Each time we choose to prepare a meal for our families and sit down to break bread is a special moment. It is a moment to be present to one another, a moment to share in each other’s lives, a moment to pray together, and a moment to love.

Following in the footsteps of Christ this Holy Thursday, let us intentionally arrange a time to sit together with our families for supper.
